During a recent convention Matt noticed a lady struggling with a large heavy suitcase. He ran across the street and offered to help. Even though she was hesitant, Matt soon convinced her to surrender her bags. He then carried them for many blocks, all the way to the hotel at which she was staying. She was so grateful she gave him a huge hug. Stories like these are an everyday occurrence for Matt. In the early stages of his employment with the Guide Program, he was in a minor accident on his bike. A vehicle unintentionally struck him. Matt immediately got to his feet, ran over to the driver and sought to comfort her. Several jokes passed between the two and the worry and concern slowly dissolved from the face of the driver.
